Support Palestinians in Crisis
As the human rights of people in the occupied Palestinian territories continue to be abused, women and children are especially at risk. Gaza faces a dire lack of medical facilities, schools, and homes, as so many have been hit by Israeli airstrikes.
ActionAid works in communities near the border with Israel that have been most directly affected by the violence. ActionAid’s women-led response is supporting the most vulnerable and marginalized individuals and communities.Donate Now

ActionAid is working with 40 local partners in Poland, Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine to ensure that the needs of all people escaping conflict in Ukraine are met and that they receive equal support and protection.Donate Now
Converging Crises in Afghanistan
Over the past 2 years, Afghanistan has been impacted by several crises. On June 22, 2022, a 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck the central region of Afghanistan impacting over 30,000 people. This has come at a time when people in Afghanistan were already facing a hunger crisis, with nearly 20 million facing acute hunger and 2 million children at the risk of malnutrition. Coupled with a lack of health infrastructure, the earthquake is devastating for the country. Right now, those displaced by ongoing conflict, drought, famine, and natural disasters are arriving in cities without a way to pay for food, rent, or fuel to heat their homes.Donate Now
Support our Cyclone Freddy Relief Efforts
The tropical cyclone Freddy that hit Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Malawi on March 18, 2023, has broken several world records as the longest ever recorded tropical cyclone and as having the highest storm re-intensification periods. The cyclone brought about combined torrential rains, gusty winds, and storm surges, causing widespread destruction in the three countries. Although the cyclone has now dissipated, the affected communities are facing critical humanitarian needs.

Support Rohingya Refugees claiming their rights
More than 900,000 people live in the camps at Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, including Rohingya refugees who were already living there as a result of previous acts of persecution, making it the largest refugee settlement in the world. Women are the most impacted, as well as those with disabilities, elderly, and unaccompanied minors who either lost their parents during displacement or were brought over by an extended family member.
ActionAid is on the ground delivering food, emergency shelter items such as tarpaulins, clean water, and hygiene kits to support Rohingya families. We are also supporting women with counseling, case management and other referral services in response to cases of gender-based violence.Donate Now
Support Communities Recovering in Haiti
In 2021, Haiti was hit with dual crises: heavy rains that caused widespread flooding in April and a 7.2 magnitude earthquake. Both of these crises devastated Haitian cities and caused countless casualties. As if this weren’t enough, Haitians were also confronted with the imminent threat of tropical storm Grace.
Together with local partners, we coordinated psychosocial support for traumatized women and children, provided disaster relief, such as water filters, cleaning tools, handwashing stations, and delivered cash support for women to recover their economic activities and support their families.Donate Now
