Three years since Russia’s invasion, Ukraine remains under relentless attack. Families have been torn apart, homes reduced to rubble, and millions live in constant fear. For Ukrainian women and girls, the war has brought even greater dangers. Domestic and sexual violence are rising, and the threat of human trafficking is real. The world cannot look away.

In response to this crisis, ActionAid has worked tirelessly over the past three years with 40 local partners in Poland, Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine. Our mission is to ensure that the needs of all people escaping and enduring the conflict in Ukraine are met with comprehensive support and protection. Our focus is on providing aid to the most vulnerable, including women, children, and LGBTQ+ individuals, who are often disproportionately affected by conflict. We take great pride in our partner organizations, which are led by women and young people who are at the forefront of this humanitarian effort.
