Rachel Carle is a Policy Advisor on climate justice at Oxfam America and a core organizer with the campaign to Stop Harvard Land Grabs.
Rachel’s ten years of experience in the field, driven by a commitment to internationalism, include work at ActionAid USA, the Committee in Solidarity with the People of El Salvador (CISPES), Justice Is Global, Life With Dignity Cambodia, and SustainUS. She has been recognized as a USCAN Faithful Climate Action Fellow, Critical Language Scholar, and Fulbright-Hays Scholar, and has conducted research or study in Cambodia, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Nicaragua, Palestine, Puerto Rico, and the US-Mexico border.
Rachel’s writing has been published in outlets including Truthout, the Harvard Crimson, the Harvard Journal of Gender Policy, and the Progressive Policy Review. Rachel holds a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Development and English from the University of Virginia.
