Burhan Razi is the Global lead for Financial Planning & Analysis at WRI. Working on financial analysis and modeling as well as decision making, he provides support to WRI staff on forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis. Burhan also drives efforts with International offices and program teams to build financial management and operational capacity. He leads on the identification and implementation of effective processes and strategy solutions to complex financial and operational issues.
Before starting at WRI, Burhan worked with the Rural Support Programmes Network (RSPN) in Pakistan for three years where he assisted in designing and implementing governance, disaster-risk management, and capacity building projects focused on rural development in Pakistan. At RSPN, Burhan travelled across the country to implementation sites to provide MEL support where he gathered valuable experience.
Burhan holds a B.A in Economics from the University of Michigan, and a M.A in Sustainable International Development from the Heller School at Brandeis University.
