Timi oversees the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy’s efforts to give progressive groups the research, insights and tools to hold philanthropy accountable to movements. Prior to NCRP, Timi served as the Washington Director for American Jewish World Service, leading U.S. policy ad advocacy efforts to support grassroots grantees fighting for human rights in the Global South.

Timi has more than two decades of experience building strategies, content, campaigns and coalitions for change. She is an “Inside the Beltway” native who began her career organizing for economic justice as Field Director for Public Citizen’s Global Trade Watch.

A fluent Spanish speaker, she has lived in South and Central America and holds a Women’s/Gender Studies B.A. from Earlham College.
