Diana Duarte is a communicator and advocate whose work promotes human rights and social justice. Her work further seeks to expose unjust policies and practices and to amplify the voices of grassroots activists.
As the Communications Director of MADRE, an international women’s human rights organization, she leads strategy on public education and media. Diana designs and implements initiatives to increase the visibility of global women’s rights issues and to raise support for the work of grassroots women’s groups worldwide. She also conducts communications trainings to transfer these powerful tools and skills into the hands of other activists.
