Abid Aslam is an award-winning journalist, policy advisor, research director, and managing editor with 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors and civil society. His specialties include g lobal economic governance, multilateral institutions, children’s rights, corporate social responsibility and governance, business regulation and human rights, economic development, and humanitarian affairs. His clients and employers have included international agencies (UNICEF, UNFPA, WFP, OCHA) and think tanks (IFPRI), philanthropies (Ford Foundation, Environmental Grantmakers’ Association), news agencies (Agence France-Presse, Inter Press Service, AFX News, Yahoo!News), and civil society organizations (ActionAid International, MSF/Doctors Without Borders, OneWorld). He serves on the advisory board of the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research and served on the board of directors of the now-defunct Women’s Feature Service-USA.
