Girl Power: Girls' Education, Sexual Behaviour and AIDS in Africa (8/14/06)
This report shows how girls educated to secondary and tertiary levels are more likely to wait before having sex, are much more likely to use condoms when they do have sex, and are therefore at much less risk of contracting HIV.

Global Fund funding rounds are becoming further and further apart due to the failure of donors to commit enough resources. If Round 6 is delayed until 2007 or even later, the G8’s treatment target will not be possible.
